In an attempt to bring this forum back from the dead I decided to make another topic. YAY 
The last films I saw were 'Bee Movie' and 'Starship Troopers'.
Bee Movie was fine, but it's not a favourite. Jerry Seinfeld is good. And I saw Starship Troopers on DVD with some friends, it was pretty good. I probably wouldn't have liked it if I was watching by myself though. Haha, and there was an Alisha's Attic track in it, which was a nice surprise!
So, have any of you seen anything good recently?

I'm in love with Hairspray 2007, it's a brilliant film, can't stop watching it. Also, looking forward to seing Elizabeth The Golden Age and the Golden Cmopass - the Northernlights film by Phillip Pullman.
Saw Stardust which was great. |

(yay, I can get to the forum again! I couldn't before.. hmm)
I've been wanting to watch Hairspray, but John Travolta is so off-putting..
Do you think I should read the book before the film? I need a good book to read anyway..

i didn't even know hairspray was a book! 
i saw the golden compass last weekend, it's really good! definatley reccomend it if you've read the books! x |

Yey Ana, we're back in business! lol
What happened?
Anyway, i've recently watched Gypsy with Bette Midler in it, as it was a crimbo pressent - it's a great musical, however i think people would rather see the stage version but it's brilliant as it is as it's very close to the stage play.
Gypsy Rose Lee is what it's about and her mother.
Ana - i can't reply on myspace but i love your new hair style!! Loving the purple bits. |

Yeah, oops, sorry about that. I left the USA to go to England for 2 1/2 weeks and of course, the server went wrong. I got to the airport and since the flight was delayed, I thought I'd have a look on the forum and I couldn't believe that it was down! I tried to have someone reboot it for me but it just needed my magic.
I love Stardust too, and I can also recommend The Invasion - Nicole Kidman is great in it! |

I haven’t seen any new movies lately, since nothing has really caught my attention. I’ll probably go see Hatchet when it comes out in September though.
Last “new” movie I saw on DVD was Last King of Scotland which I liked. |
